How about saying you have been given an appointment that you have been waiting for? Pretty vague, yes?

If you know other CMs that your mindees see (and therefoe know) at playgroups etc that have vacancies for the day, it would be really helpful to see if any of them could have your mindees for the day - that would take pressure off the parents.
