Hi everyone, I need help with writing a notice letter - I'm moving to a different area and need to give all my mindees notice. I'm moving in 5/6 weeks so they are getting plenty of notice, but I need to write it as gently as possible - it's a difficult thing as I've got lovely families. :(

Much appreciated. x

Dear x

As per our contract I am writing to give you 4 weeks notice to end our contract.

It has been a pleasure working with you and your family, but due to a change in my circumstances I am no longer able to fulfill the terms of our contract. This has been a hard decision but I am relocating to a new area. My last working day will be ??/??/??

Here is the number for our local family information service who can provide you with details of alternative childminders. 0xxxxxxxxxx You may also try the following childminders who know your child already and may have a vacancy:

Good luck in your future childcare.
