Where do parents look for childminders?

I am interested to know where parents look for childminders?

Have a look on your local council website. There should be some information there. Or there may be something on the ofsted website as CMs are ofsted registered :)

I have looked on my local website but I no childminders near me are not on their, and they are registered, is their any other websites about?

Childcare.co.uk you have to pay to view details but I had an enquiry as I have my full name as user name and someone looked me up on Facebook. Try ringing your local fis they will have a list.

There are lots on the local childcare boards of netmums.....

Can some give me the link to recent ones, the ones I see are from December.

When you looked at the council website, did you put in town or postcode, as I'm on page 19 0f 20 by town and page two by postcode. so there maybe a cm, just wondered.

School gate! Or sometimes if you get one childminder and they don't have space they'll recommend another one.

I asked people who had children (not necessarily still being minded) for reccommendations. Also maybe sure start centre workers might be able to recommend?

I get my clients from childcare.co.uk. I've never needed to advertise locally. Your council will have a full list but it may not be up to date.
