well i didnt know how else to put it in the title but my friend asked me to look after her 8mth old son for 3 hours a day 4 days a week from feb until may but i had to say no because i can only have 1 under 1 which is my 5mth old so i rang ofsted to check and they said i could have him if i didnt get paid and only only had him for 2 hours a day (anyone else think that is stupid?) anyway im gutted as when she first rang i was so excited and said i would call her as soon as i had my certificate but now i cant have him and she's as upset as i am.

Oh Im not quite at your stage yet but I think you get must get so nervous and exited by your first enquiry and there is such alot to remember and think about its easy to forget.

HellyBelly · 24/01/2006 19:28

Oh yeah, can see how that can happen - I was like that loads at the start I still have to ask if I can phone back sometimes so I can work out ages, how many it would be in car etc (as not got MPV)

I know you are gutted but, going by the things I've read on here etc, it may be better not to do it for a friend?!

Sure you'll get loads of enquiries once you're registered
