You know, the ones that actually take into account what you want and have lots of people on their books...am looking for a live in nanny to start ASAP and I just can't get results from the agencies I have tried...and there are so many to choose from...Any good experiences, wing them over to me please

Where do you live? I think most agencies cover a particular part of London, rather than the city as a whole....

SE London, but as I want a live in, most are OK with all London addresses......

I've had good success with Elite. Speak to Kim, who is extremely conscientious and responsive.

Let me know if you can't find the number, and I'll look it up for you. There is also a website...

Try Park Nannies, based in Queen's Park area but very helpful when I was looking (W12) 3 yrs ago, sent thru a smaller number of cvs but all girls you could hire, rather than bombarding you with girls who didn't meet your basic requirements, always return calls etc. Good luck.

Have you tried Imperial and Eden?
Corinna from The Nanny Service found us our first lovely star, but that was six years ago so I'm not sure whether they're still as good.

Take it you don't want to go the Simply Childcare route?

Join a chat on nannyjob. You might find some people looking.

I agree, Kim from Elite is great. Gail from Childhood Nannies is also extremely good.

I like Walleroo (sepcialise in Aus / NZ nannies)
