New baby started with me, Not settling at naptime

gorgeous little 5 month old started with me this week. Shes a lovely, happy litttle girl but is having trouble settling in cot at naptime.

I have two toddlers myself. I put her up today and after 15 mins her screaming and me picking her up and cuddling, putting back down, i had to just put her in buggy and roll her up and down hall. She fell straight asleep and i transfered her back up to cot.

HEr mum says she settles fine at home but when she doesnt she does that pick up/put down baby whisperer thing (which i will read up on tonight). Her mum has said she doesnt mind her sleeping in buggy if we are out and about but I dont want to be starting any bad habits going asleep as she settles fine at home.

I will try the pick up/put donw thing on thurs but it is very hard with two toddler boys running around. . anyone any advice?

Personally I would persist with the putting down in cot for a while. She will get the message that this is the way to sleep at cms, just go in, reassure, say nite nite and persist, if she's tired she will eventually fall asleep, I don't want to be starting compli ated sleeping routines when u have other children to cope with.

Mum has the time, u don't, she will soon learn and b fine.
