Nanny salary

What is a fair weekly salary for a nanny in west London, live out. Taking care of a 20 month year old, 4 days per week. She has 8 years experience. Before tax, hourly salary would be good for me to compare

I would say £11-12 gross/hour.
13 if they are Ofsted registered or have particularly desirable qualifications.

I am paying £12 gross per hour for 2 day week in SW London, mostly care of 23 month old for am, then 3 year old too after 12, then occasionally the older 2 thrown in depending on after school clubs. Qualified teacher, about 6 years exp. Plus a paid hour off at lunch time...my choice so we don't overlap with no children during nap time! She is shared care 75% time....

I would guess £11-£12 gross per hour for West London.

Advertise the job at a salary you can afford to pay and see if you get any applications.

I'm in West London and the going rate is £10ph net (which I think works out at about £13ph gross if a standard tax code).

With only one child you may get away with paying less though, I don't know anyone who nannies for only one child so I'm not sure what the going rate would be.
