Hi,

We're going through a bit of a stage at the moment and I have read a little about 'parent guru's' online where they will visit your home for a few days and help with strategies to improve behaviour and hence general life.

Has anyone used one of these people? I really want to get things on track asap.

Thx :)

be more specific as to the situation and you might get the help you need on here.

sometimes just talking about things and getting perspectives and managing stratergies help.

all been there to some extent.

To help child's behaviour, you need to stand back and watch what triggers the behaviour. I have quiet often found that many parents are frightened or
feel given guidelines, being assertative and having a set routine is not the way for them. To love and discipline your child equally, always explain what,s
exceptable and unexceptable behaviour. Praise every time for good behaviour Always stay calm and speak to them at their level and give them lots and lots of cuddles and attention. And remember you need time for yourself.
