How much holiday I am entitled to?

Hello,

I am just about to start a new live-in position working 60 h over five days. Before I had four weeks paid holiday plus all bank holidays but I worked less hours. A friend of mine has told me that I will have more days holiday entitlement when I work 60 hours every week. Is this right?

No - you will still get 28 days holiday per year, which is 4 weeks plus bank holidays. Unless you have a generous employer that has offered you more than the legal minimum Grin

Nope, your friend is misinformed. But if you consider you work more hours I guess you do get more paid time off. But it is still calculated in days.

60 hours is not uncommon for a live in nanny.
