I am so unmotivated at the moment. Despite it being early in the new year and despite getting a couple of new children, I feel completely unmotivated when it comes to all the paperwork and related crap!

I need a telling off / understanding nod / glass of wine.

How do you get motivated with getting things done is the LAST thing you want to do Sad

hi,totally understand..

first remember you are running business to make money and to be sucessful all you need to do is to keep parents happy and children safe and happy, its not rocket science.

second you arnt running the business for that once every 3 year visit from Ofsted, they dont pay your bills.

thirdly there is some paperwork attatched to any job but you can do the minimun required, attendance records, sensible and relevant risk assessments, obs and planning activities as you would do anyway ,but just write them down.

I decided to cut down all my paperwork to the bare minimum( or it was giving up the business) as I was drowning in stupid ridiculous risk assessments and worry, all crap. My Ofsted inspector said I was doing too much and I agree.

My parents love me and I get asked for spaces all the time thats sucess, some cms are going completely over the top with paperwork imo to strive for excellent from a stranger who doesnt really have a clue what goes on in the setting except fantastic paperwork!!!

satisfactory and good are fine from Ofsted as long as the parents and kids say you are outstanding.
