Finding a great nanny for my adopted daughter in Oxford

I recently adopted a 5 year old, and have to return to work in April. I'm a single Mum, so will need really great, flexible childcare. I also need someone who's willing to learn about and work with my daughter's needs - she's had a tough life so far. Apart from Gumtree and New Parent Network, does anyone have any suggestions of where I could look? I think I really need 1-1 care for her, so the nanny share site doesn't work for me.

I was recommended childcare.co.uk on here ... It's been really useful and is worth a look

You could also try your local childcare notice board on netmums.co.uk

Good luck :)

nannyjob.co.uk is probably one of the best places.

Where abouts in Oxford are you? I know of someone local to me who comes highly recommended, though I think that she's looking after other children at the moment (I think one pre-schooler during the day and others after school) so she may not be suitable if you need 1-1, but she might be able to recommend someone.
