Childminders may do this too, try your local families information service they may have a website, or childcare.co.uk if you like I could post on a childminding forum I go on pm me if you like with age of child (it makes it easier to know if they have a space) and details and I'll post for you or go to www.childmindingforum.co.uk general chat is probably the best place.

I've used a kids unlimited nursery for a one off although that was in manchester, I'd ring the local ones and ask. Its probably better for the under 9 month over 3's though.

Know any childminders? Where I live there is a fab network of CMs who would cover this kind of thing if they had spaces.

Any childcare professional will do this, if they have vacancies, and it fits with their other children - Nurseries, Child minders, and, I presume (?) a nanny who wasn't working elsewhere (?)
Try your family Information Service.
