I am a CM in the middle of negotiating a contract with a lovely new set of parents. I always charge if the child is not with me for any reason and do not charge if I am not available due to sickness or holidays.
The mother has told me that one of the nurseries she looked at does not charge if the parents have given certyain notice of their holidays and if the child is not at the nursery for a week or two becasue of the holiday.
Has anyone else experienced this? Are there some nurseries that do not chage when the child is not there? I realise that this makes me sound as if I do not believe the mother! I do wonder, though, if she is a bit confused about some information she was given?
Thanks!
