Do you always use an agency to find your nanny - how much does it cost?

I have used both agencies and websites simultaneously. I'm willing to pay an agency fee if they can find me a good nanny, but also advertise myself as sometimes the agencies miss some good candidates (and conversely, some good nannies will only work through agencies as they feel it provides a "check" on families too). Depending on the agency, they will charge between 3-8 weeks of the nanny's net salary.
