Hi everyone, schools closed today cos of weather. Was dreading keeping my own 3dc plus 3 mindees busy but have had fab day - made fairy cakes, gingerbread men and lots of christmas tat crafts. Oldest mindee (9) just told me that her dad was home all afternoon but she asked mum to drop her off at mine at 3 (usually after schoolie) because "she'd be bored at home and she really likes coming to mine and if she still went to after school club she wouldn't have gone there, but coming to mine is better" - almost makes up for the fact that my previously child safe garden now has no fence!
