Anyone know the process for re-registering as a childminder?

If I resigned about 2.5 years ago is it a big kerfuffle re-registering?

(not sure I want to / am going to .. just thinking about it)

My friend is thinking of doing the same and our childminding development officer at Sure Start was a great help. She said that if you still had your old certificate then it would be easier and you may not have to do the ICP again.
