Hello All

I am looking for a childminder from Jan 2012 (or mid December), for my son will be 16 months then. Ideally, I would like 4 mornings a week. We are not far from St Margarets station.

Any recommendations most welcome.

Hi, I suggest you repost on the local Richmond board. Your post is probably too specific for the topic you've chosen but the local board is busy and you'll get responses.

Alternatively, post on Richmond NCT's facebook wall for recommendations www.facebook.com/richmondnct or there's a local community website for St Margarets www.stmgrts.org.uk

Try your local families information service or childcare.co.uk or childmindinghelp.couk

No help- but I used to live in St Margarets! Such a nice place.

go to the Richmond council web page. Find the child care section, you can then input your postcode and all the local childminders will come up with availability and info about them.

I'd recommend popping into Gymboree and posting an ad, and at the newsagents in the station. I check both regularly for babysitting, always people advertising! Also Richmond library has a notice up advertising childminder/parents meeting sessions- don't know when or where as I'm a nanny not childminder, but worth a look.

Gymboree and advertising at the St Margarets Station is very good. Also in the little Gym in Hampton hill they accept adverts in there also.
