I have been cm three years. I look after 7 kids aged almost 2-10 yrs. I have four kids of my own 7,10,13,15.

Start time 07.30 finish time 18.00. Mon to fri.

Starting cm when my youngest started full time school.

Gives me the flexibility that I would not get in most jobs.

Doing paper work at present. Getting ready for Ofsted .

Anyone simular to me in any way. I would love to know how you are getting on. Grin

I finished early on Wednesdays for a while when my DD had an after school activity. I work with my dh. We have 6 little ones Mon - Thu and 3 on Fri, so one of us can do paperwork, dentist, etc. We have big ones in school holidays.

I have 2 children of my own, aged 5 and 6 and look after 2 children aged 18 months and 12 months 2 days per week and 4 children aged 3 months old, 18 months old, 2 years old & 5 year old the other 3 days per week.

I find the hardest thing is trying to get homework etc done with my own children. I spend the weekend meal planning and batch cooking for the week and try to keep on top of my paperwork when babies are sleeping.

Thanks again.

Lisa1968 when do you do your paperworkk? You seem so relaxed and calm.

You must have learnt so much in 11 years. Any tips would be appreicated. I have been doing some reflective practise recently. Some things are working well, some need changing. Trying to stay balanced with work and family life.
