Statement of aims and objectives - on application form?

I am in the process filling in the application form to hopefully register as a childminder.

Googled aims and objectives and have found other childminders aims and objectives, on their websites.

So, do the aims and objectives I put on my application form, have to be exactly the same as I would put in my policies, future website etc.

Not that I think I would drastically change them, but might want to change a few words here and there.

In other words, do I have to make sure it is perfect, exactly what I will want on my future paper work, for the next few years.

Sorry if this is a stupid question. Oh, I am in Scotland (just incase it is slightly different here than in England). Thanks for any advice.

Hi there, I'm in Scotland too. I just printed off a whole load of other cm aims and objectives, picked the ones I liked best and put them on the form in my own words.
The SCSWIS (now care inspectorate) expect you to update things as you go along - part of your CPD - so won't go back and look at your reg form once you're working to make sure you've still got the same aims & obj.
Top tip I got from inspector was that they've read all the Bromley Childminder Policies too and know when cm just cut and paste them into their own files - much better to read them to get the general idea then write them in your own words.
Hope this helps.

Thanks five- I wondered if I would get done for plagirism (tempting though isn't it).

It gets worse though I have just reread the forms and found question 14!! So as well as aims and objectives I also have to write a statement about operating the servivce and my policies and procedures.

I can see this taking me quite a few weeks!!
