Childminders Club: Where do you keep your Fire Evacuation Record?

Hi again

I've had a fire evacuation policy in place since I started but so far, the evacuation record (with children's names on) has just been kept in my policies folder.

Where do you keep yours?

I remember at work the fire warden for your area would grab the clip board by the exit and tick us off their sheet whilst outside (drills)

All my info like that is sitting in a file! I expect we should probably have it readily available somewhere though.

My network co-ordinator said I've got to practice a fire drill with my three non-walking children. Apparently, throwing them out of the window onto the front lawn doesn't count.

I must start them too. It's only because my inspection is due this week that I've started thinking more about all this and of course, I'll need this record to hand!
