Should I offer to contribute to buy car seat and or double buggy that my childminder tells me she will purchase when she takes my ds?

these are business expenses that she can claim back via the tax system

Definately not, its down to her to have the equipment if she runs a CM business.

Not unless you want a specific brand/style.
