Babysitting needed - Dartmouth (Devon) area - w/c 14th August

Hi there,

We're going to be staying in Higher Bowden (near Dartmouth) for a week from Saturday 13th August 2011 and were wondering if anyone can recommend a babysitter in the area that they have used? Alternatively, please let me know if you do babysitting in that area and have references we can check!

Ideally we would like to go out on Tuesday and Thursday night, but are open to offers :)

Have you tried Sitters? They are very good and you can book online. Pricey though.

We used them when we went on honeymoon to Cornwall. It meant we could go out and enjoy ourselves in spite of having a 6 month old!

Thanks - we checked out the Sitters service, but its £13 to register for the quarter, £6 booking fee each time, then £6/hr with a minimum of 3 hours for each time...which would work out about £30/evening for the 2 evenings we want to go out!!

As we really don't need the service in London (as we have 7 or 8 lovely girls all living on our road) I'd prefer to go the word-of-mouth route via MN if at all possible...
