Just filled all the registration forms in for Ofsted! [shock]

Oh my goodness! today it has taken me 6 hours to fill all the forms in, make sure i had all the addresses for the past 5 years (i have moved ALOT) then the health form etc etc!

I really hope the turn around is quick now as it all seems so real!

Any tips for me anyone?

First piece of advise:
Don't expect to to happen soon
Second piece of advse:
Expect loads more paperwork on a daily bass

Are you good at waiting... could be 3 months, could be 6. It can take a while - and sounds like your CRB check, and social service checks could take some time as you have many addresses.

Whilst you are waiting, get chatting with other local childcare providers... with luck if they are full they will then pass you work.

Thank you, I had a guess I would be waiting a while I hope it isn't to long as I really need to start bringing an income in to our pot!

I have the website for childminders in my area so I'm thinking of contacting them. Would that be cheeky?
