I am just curious that with the extremely high cost of child care in london - how does anyone afford a nanny? As such, when I head back to work, I figure that nannyshare might be the only option. But I have no clue how to go about looking for one....

There's the nanny shares board in here.

You could also ask around NCT/antenatal friends, pop an ad up on the netmums childcare board, put an ad in newsagents windows etc.

Most share families are found by word of mouth then you either use their existing nanny or recruit one together.

You could also try the website nannyshare.co.uk - we are looking for a share in my new position and I think my employer has had some success so far using that site.

Thanks for that! I'll start with the NCT and the nannyshare website and see where it goes!
