Hello all,

I am 10wks pregnant but making financial plans!

OH and I are considering staying in London or moving North and I am trying to work out what childcare costs will be in each location for when i return to work 9 months after birth.

Any idea how much childcare for 3 days per week would cost in London and also how much the same care would be in / around Leeds?

Are there any sites in can find this info on?

Thanks

K4mi

If you take a look on childcare.co.uk then there are lots of providers advertising on there, should give you an idea of the general sort of cost for those areas.

It totally depends what kind of care and the hours you need. Remember that many nannies quote net so looking at rates may not give you an idea of the true cost. There is a good thread on the costs of employing a nanny somewhere which takes into account things you may not have thought of.
