Hi, so sorry everyone for asking questions, over and over!!!(blush)

I have just recieved my start up box with all the NCMA contract books and expenditure sheets to fill in each week.

Ive taken on one school pick up for now, so only 5 hours per week, at the mo...what sort of things would i claim for with her at mine for that time? (She does not have dinner, only drink and snack). Toilet rolls? Liquid soap? Juice? But how much would i put for each night? How do you devide the price of a toilet roll for example?? What would you all put for a girl for only few hours for 2 days???

yOU CAN claim for anything that they use or might use. I say we use approx 1.5 roll per week of loo roll and it is me and the child i half a roll and then 'charge' for that. iyswim.

Try and work out how much juice/snacks they would eat ie a whole packet, half and then write that down. I find it easier to do it week by week and now i can estimate what will be used, some time is it really spot on othertimes not so much.

Remember if you need to have lunch out with mindees you can charge for that too as well as their snacks drinks etc whilst out.

I record specific amounts for specific items used solely for minding (eg. baby wipes). Things like loo rolls and juice, which may be used by my whole family, tend to get averaged out over a month, so I don't look at how much it would cost day by day. You don't really need to be that precise for your accounts.
