Hi I start college in September, ds is 3 and needs someone to drop him off at 11.30am at nursery and pick him up at 3.30pm. They will need to have him for an hour before and after said times.
We live nowhere near his nursery, we drive. We can drop him off to someone and pick him up, not a problem.
Do I need a childminder, or would anyone else be better suited.
All the childminders I could find on childcare.co.uk seem to plan day trips with there mindee's so doubt they would be happy having to drop ds off halfway through the day. I am very Confused

Yes...it sounds like you need a childminder...many people use them for half days/pick ups and drop offs. Somene will be along to advise further but your local council will have a list of all registered minders in your area.
