Just wanted to say hello, I have just found this site and spent far too much time yesterday reading all your threads!

So hello, I am a childminder with a daugher who is 17 months........I love the job, (except the parents at times )

Hello.........and nice to meet you all!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
HellyBelly · 18/11/2005 09:07

Welcome to mumsnet

I've been doing it since July and have a ds who is 2½.

How long you been childminding then?

HellyBelly · 18/11/2005 09:09

Just in case you are not aware, if us childminders have questions, advice or just want a moan to other childminders, we put Childminders Club first so that we know it's for the other minders to see . This was organised by Katymac and can't remember who else (really sorry, can't remember - hope not offended!)

jellyjelly · 18/11/2005 09:09

Hi and welcome.

blodwen · 18/11/2005 10:37

Welcome Booh

HellyBelly - I think it was Katymac and KangaMummy? who start Childminder Club. Great idea wasn't it!

RTKangaMummy · 18/11/2005 10:46

helloooooooooooooo booh

Yes it was me

KMc and I were chatting about all the issues to do with childminding and asked for our own topic or club but we weren't allowed to have a completely new topic so we decided to put the CHILDMINDERS CLUB: at the beginning so it was a sub club

HellyBelly I am terribly offended

I am not on the topic very much atm because I am having an extended holiday from minding after doing it for many years

Well my mindee mum is on maternity leave

I will be having the original mindee little baby brother from next year.

So I am enjoying some meeeeeeeeee time and time for mumsnetting

HellyBelly · 18/11/2005 11:03

Oh sorry, sorry, sorry Didn't mean to offend - couldn't remember who else it was but it was a GREAT idea!!! We love it!!!

Bet it's lovely to have a bit of a break! Good for you!

RTKangaMummy · 18/11/2005 11:26

Hi Booh - I've been minding for too many years and mind too many children! Be warned, they're all mad on here ...

karen23 · 18/11/2005 22:11

Hi Boo
I've been minding since August this year and come on here regulary.
I can't believe you work 70 hours a week I only do 4 mornings a week at the moment (Such a part-timer)
I have a 3 year old dd, she started school in September so I just have my 2 mindees in the mornings.
