question about how to invoice

I usually invoice for the month ahead and have my invoices out by the 1st of the month. One of my mindees parents has asked me to estimate until August so she can let her uni know so they can pay the childcare sooner to her so it gets to me on time. How should I do this...should I literally just estimate or do proper invoices...it'll mess up my system if I do though! When I worked for a company we used to do pro formas but Im not sure if this can apply to childminding! Any advice?

She should be able to estimate it herself, if she knows her normals hours and rates. Why is she asking you to do it? If you do it, then make sure you show that it is an estimate, so you can adjust her invoices each month as you normally would. I would probably just do an A4 sheet with an estimated amount for each month.
