How long is it on average between an ofsted inspection and the report being published?

I dont know if this is a 'how long is a piece of string question' or not.

My ds's nursery was inspected last week and I just wondered. I am not worried, as lovely owner was very disapointed about the unscheduled inspection as she isn't there everyday and had been really looking forward to spending the day with the children doing activities....but had to show inspector around instead....which means more to me than the report!

Also last inspection was 6yrs ago....isnt that a long time?

They know there and then what grade they received. I think it has to be done within 14 days but it's usually before that.

IIRC it's supposed to be up on the website within 20 days

6 years is the far end of the inspection cycle, presumably the last one was Good or Outstanding?
