Night nannies in West London?

Can anyone recommend a good agency? I think we really need a few nights off: DS is sleeping appallingly, and the only way for me to get more sleep is for DH to get less, and vice versa. DS is 8 months and I was really hoping it would have got better by now! Roughly what should we expect to pay?

Hello

If you use an agency I think like night nannies you would obv have an agency fee to pay (no idea what it is!!) and then the night nanny you pay about £9-10 an hr i think.

However you could find a night nanny privately- perhaps on here or searching on goodle for maternity night nanny as many people have own websites and depending on experience then you would expect to pay between £10-£15 an hr gross.

The lower rate would prob be a nanny who has baby experience but little night nanny experience but would be very very suitable if all you want is some sleep and the higher rate would be for an experience maternity night nanny who could offer you some support with routines and give you lots of advice as well as the nights sleep.

I am in east midlands so too far from you but I charge £12-£15 an hr.

If you do want to use an agency www.kidsmatter.uk.com cover all of the UK and will more than likely have a maternity nurse/night nanny available asap for you.

Hello, I've sent you a message as I do some night nannying myself. But as east midlands nanny says night nannies are a good agency if you wanted to go through an agency rather than finding someone on here? Hope that helps.

Hi Petsville, which area do you live?

MaternityNursesaregreat · 28/04/2011 20:03

Hi,

I do night nannying when I am not booked up in Maternity roles, so would be happy to speak with you about what you need, where you are etc.
Please send me a PM if you are interested.

Alternately two very good agencies I work with/through are:

Cocoon UK - Louise is the person to speak with

and

Silent Night Nannies - Daisy is the contact person.
