Au Pair Proof of Address in the UK

Hello All,
I have an Au Pair coming here on Tuesday. In order for her to be able to join my doctors she needs a proof of address for my house!!

What can she do to get somehthing with her name and address on??

Help.

Contract of employment?
Register to vote (if eligible)
Add her to a autility bill?

Set up a basic bank account - Barclays apparently do one, or the HSBC passport account is easy to get (but charges £8/month).

I don't know about doctors but when I first moved to London to do live-in the library, video rentals (blockbusters and the local one) and gym all accepted a letter written and signed by my boss stating I was a live-in nanny at their address. I also took along proof of her address, a bill or whatever, and that was all fine.

I just needed to provide a letter confirming her job with us and address

she can also exchange her driving licence , if she has one, for a british driving licence if nothing else works. some banks/doctors etc are a pain sometimes.

We help our Aps open a basic account with Barclays - they need a letter from their bank at home to their home address plus something else with their home address on it. Plus passport and driving licence. Then once they have the account they can use correspondance from that for GP, library etc.
I also do an official letter confirming she has accepted the AP job and the rate and hours of work as this is useful for lang school.
