I am a cm and have just sold my house. Can anyone tell me what ofsted do about moving, when they inspect etc? And anyone have any tips? Also, new house doesnt have a downstairs loo, I know plenty of childminders must manage without, but is it going to be a real nightmare?

I told OFSTED I was moving, and gave them my new address so that they could send me a new certificate with the new address (you cannot trade without this).

I sent through a floor plan of downstairs and upstairs, plus a detailed risk assessment of every room, garden, local outings etc. They might wish to inspect the new property, probably not though. They did not with me.

I have loos on both floors, I wouldn't be keen to toilet train sans a loo on each level... but know other CMs cope just fine with one loo only.

Ah really, I just assumed they would inspect! Erm that would definately be a load off my mind! Yes no downstairs loo I realise is definately not ideal, especially with 4 under 3's (variation) but if there is no way i can fit one i will just have to cope i spose Hmm
