What should I expect?

I'm stupidly nervous and really want to be successful. Any tips? What might I be asked? I have filled out the form from ofsted with all the questions for the interview so I shall have that to hand. What were you asked?

Thanks,
SM

Is it your pre-reg visit or first inspection?

(sorry to be dense)

SwearyMary · 12/04/2011 20:46

right I am going to wrack my brain as it's been a few years since I registered

they'll go through the form(s?) with you

they'll probably ask you things like why you think you'll be good at it, what activities you might undertake, do you know a bit about the cirriculum (EYFS) and the accompanying legislation

um um um

how could you accommodate the needs of various aged children (high chair, booster, double buggy, car seats, age appropriate toys)

I think that then you book onto a basic course in CMing and First Aid (12 hours)

Hopefully someone will be along with more recent info

Thanks, all info gratefully received! I have completed the ICP and first aid courses.

Its strange, I am a very confident person usually but this has me feeling so nervous. I think its just because its something I really want and therefore so important.
