I'm thinking I probably shouldn't say 'Sorry I can't have your children any more they are rude, disrespectful, trash my house and annoy the hell out of me'. Grin

Do I have to give a reason? Is it ok to lie?!

Due to a change of my circumstances I need to terminate our contract. I am giving you four weeks notice as per our contract. Our last working day will be xxxxxx I wish you luck in your future childcare. For alternative childcare you can contact the family information service on xxxxxxxxxxxx who will hold a list of registered childminders.

Don't put things down in writing to someone unless you are prepared for it to come back and bite you on the bum at some point.

Lie Lie Lie

Thanks. It's going to be awkward as they attend my son's school but hey-ho, I have to think of myself sometimes!
