Help; I need an excel table or something really clever to help me

I need a quick look up table for "how many children = how many adults" for childminding and for CDP

Is there an easy way of making it?

For 1 childminder it could be
1

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

No but I'd like it.
I've started one but not sure exactly how do it.

Basically I'm going with the idea of allocating a number of points to each child based on their age.
Under 2 8
2 to 3 6
3 to 8 3

Each adult then has a maximum of 24 points, so could care for a max of 3 under 2's or max of 4 aged 2-3, or max of 8 aged 3-8. Does that make sense? Does that still fit with permitted ratios (I think it does, can you check though).

What about childminding? We have under 1's

I should be able to help you with excel, just need to make sure I understand what you need exactly. Do you want a table which has 2 columns: first one is the number of childminders, second is the max number of children they can have?
If so, what is the rule? And... what is CDP?

LesbianMummy1 · 05/04/2011 18:27

Hi Katymac I have one I already use well but only nipped home for ten minutes back late tonight so will copy it for you either tonight or tomorrow

KatyMac · 05/04/2011 18:29

Thanks - I'm not sure if it's possible; it could get messy

Childminding is
1
