Nursery pick up

We would like someone to pick up our son from nursery in the afternoon for 3 days a week if possible. Around 4 o'clock.

We live in Stockbridge in Edinburgh.

Anyone who knows what to do about that?? Should I contact an agency?? We don't really need any help in the house, it is only the picking up that is tricky for me to do.

you could advertise on nannyjob and / or gumtree and see who applies Smile

be specific, days, hours, and duties and see who applies.

Id recommend at least advertising yourself 1st as IMO agencies just charge you a LOT to filter applicants for you!

Or do you want a childminder?

Why don't you advertise on childcare.co.uk? It isn't too pricy and you can look to see what/whos available before you choose to register with them.

Do you literally want someone to just collect him and deliver him home? Or do you need him collecting, and then looking after (for an hour or two or whatever?)

I would find out about a local childminder probably.

You may find a local childminder who could do it, though 4pm may not work as a time as other schools would finish before then I would have thought.
Childminder Search, search radius centred on Hamiltons Bar.

Maybe it would suit a student.

Student accommodation website may help identify some places to put leaflets.

Perhaps contact student associations to see if they have facilities to advertise small jobs to local students

Try advertising on Edinburgh.Gumtree

Thank you so much for all of your advice! Much appreciated!!!

We only want someone to pick him up and bring him home from nursery.
