I have got one question (P.C) left to do for my nvq. My assessor has told me it's fine to do a reflective account. I've written the obvious, but I'm worried that it's not long/detailed enough. Does anyone have any ideas of what else I could include?
It's P.C 305.2.7 "Ensure confidentiality and privacy for children, except when their well-being is at stake"
I have so far written about where we keep our developmental reports. Where we keep our registration documents. Who I can talk to about a named child. When I would require the carer?s permission and where there are exceptions (Safeguarding children).
I have also mentioned re privacy that some children may find communal style toileting off putting; their desire for privacy should be accommodated where possible. That the same consideration should be given to children when nappies and /or clothing are being changed.
Any help would really be appreciated. I can't wait to get this done!
