Ideas for after-school activity for new mindees' first visit please?

I have a 2yr old and 4 yr old coming over this afternoon and am looking for some activity ideas for them.

I haven't had a 4 yr old here for a long time so not sure if the things I have in mind are going to be a bit young for him.

Also, my usual after-schoolers (8yrs and one of them is my ds) like to watch a bit of tv or play up in ds' room.

playdough is always popular

or gluing and sticking and painting. pasta shapes or potato stamps or something?

Thanks for the suggestions! We went for trains/cars/road/tracks. They only stayed half an hour so that kept them well entertained.
