worried about health declaration

Hello lovely childminders!

My health declaration has been forwarded to Health Management Ltd for further investigation. This is because I had a period of severe depression and anxiety a few years ago. It only lasted 12 months and was treated with medication and counselling.

I'm not too worried as everyone tells me it wont stop me from being registered.

I just want some advise on how long it might take?

I returned my consent form to Health Management Ltd a month ago and haven't heard anything since.

I've called Ofsted a few times but they wont give me an estimate of how long I have to wait.

Has anyone else waited a month or more?

Hello - can't say how long, but they may want you to see an Occupational Health Dr to confirm you are well now.

Occupational Health Drs (IME) are usually private - so return reports within a few days.

Are you able to contact Health Mgt and ask what's happening?
