becomming a cm - need to pick brains..

Hi, hope this isn't a too daft a question but am currently planning on becomming a CM (am in registration process), my first mindee will be 1 when she starts and I can't picture what to do with her whilst I'm cooking lunch! kitchen is off the hall and too small... and can't see dining room from kitchen ...... ideas please....thanks

hi 3rdnparty, i precook and then reheat tea. lunch tends to be sliced meat or cheese and salad or a sandwich with salad.

High chair in the kitchen? CCTV to playroom, with a monitor in the kitchen. Hard to tell without seeing your house.

good point....house victorian so not huge ..from front door into hall which is prob 1m wide and 4m long,kitchen door facing frnt door, stairs to the right hand side. Front room door on left hand side of hall and dining room also on left hand side. Could do high chair in hall I guess then move it back to dining room to eat - Kitchen less than 3m square so not an option to use...hmmm could do packed lunch type thing as make for ds/dh anyway.... rather do warm food as option for me too
