Does anyone know of a website where i can download (for free) some good flashcards that i can use for non verbal communication. my mindee is nearly 2 and communicates through screeming, i am sure it is mainly down to frustration so i am hoping he will respond well to flashcards for simple things like snack/eat, drink, book/story, nap/rest....you get the idea Smile

I photographed all those things at my house and stuck them on the side of a kitchen cupboard in the playroom (but I have seen them laminated into a book)

Then they can pick out DD, cost, wellies & garden or Katymac, suncream & park or snack & drink

It works really well as they are pictures of the actual thing

Software for Windows based systems... PictoSelector It's 218MB so rather large but that is due to coming complete with lots of images. There is a video showing the software in use here.
