Babysitters - cheshire. What's the going rate?

Just paid my babysitter £30 for 4 hours work. She looks after dd3 at nursery and the other 2 know he well. We didn't discuss rate and am now panicking that I haven't paid her enough.

Anyone have a going rate for me?!

Gosh I don't know the going rate but I hope that's enough or I'll never be able to afford to go out!

I think that sounds fair going rates vary depending obv on area and sitters experience but nursery nurses tend to charge £5-£8 an hr for babysitting.

I charge £12 an hr with a min of £40 and know a few people who do.

Sitters the agency is around the £6 an hr and then agency fee on top so think you were fair
