I don't know what to do with myself! LOL It doesn't seem that long ago that I was coming back to work after maternity leave with ds2 being only 10 weeks old and mindees being 8 months, 17 months and 18 months old. And now I have NO CHILDREN in the house!!! Shock I now have 3 mindees at nursery every afternoon and ds2 at pre-school 2 afternoons a week so on those days, I'll have no kiddies at all!!! I think I'm just in shock LOL. Ok so 2 days a week I'll still have another toddler mindee (different children on different days) with my ds2 (now 2.6!) in the afternoons but my goodness, it's weird to not be looking after children or tiptoeing around the house at naptimes. 1 day a week I'll have just ds2 in the afternoon so it will be nice to have much needed one to one time too.

So, those of you in a similar boat, what on earth do you do with yourselves??? I think I'll use the time to catch up with admin and possibly do some Wii Fit!! Grin Today I'm just resting and making the most of it! Funny though as I'll go from 0 children to 6 as soon as I've done the school run(s)!!

That's it really, just never thought a day like this would come after all the madness!! :)

Oh, just got all excited thinking I'll be able to do bits of sorting upstairs. I used to us all rooms and have 4 sleeping so although not actually watching them at that time, I couldn't do think like sorting my kids wardrobes and stuff - maybe I'll do some of that tomorrow Grin

I went to the gym this morning and have been sat here eating lunch for nearly an hour and i'm stiffening up!! probably put more weight on than I lost...
I've almost finished childminding now, i'm doing a mixture of nannying and creches and love getting out of the house.

Gym sounds good but I'm not a member and couldn't afford it sadly.

Nannying and creche work sounds great :) I'm out and about a lot anyway tbh but it is nice to just have some quiet time for a change :)

Out of interest, how do you find nannying? I've often wondered about it (thanks to paperwork these days) but not sure how would fit in with my own kids.

Work wise its been quiet round here for a while now Sad
I only have after schoolers, none during the day
But unfortunatly, I have begun to enjoy having the day to myself..
I could do with the extra money tho, that a
all day child brings..

blimey looney.. enjoy love..wii fit sounds great but a cup of hot chocolate and a good book sounds greater!!!

i am very busy.. 4 on 3 days and 3 on 2 and have finally given up my one day off.. boo hoo.. still its all money and feel rejuvinated after the christmas break so all good..

Hi Chanmom. Welcome to the CM Club. We occasionally have virtual coffee and snacks.

I had a day off yesterday, while DH looked after 3 little ones. Visited my Mum and Dad and my DD even got a lift to and from school, much to her delight.

(yes, I know I could have done some paperwork, or accounts ...)
