I think, if you used white flowers, they would look beautiful on a Xmas tree.
You will need:
synthetic flowers. (I bought a bunch, with 5 flower heads on it for £1 in Wilkos)
pipecleaners
wooden beads
embroidery thread or wool
All you need to do, is pull the flowers apart, so that you have a petal with a hole in the middle.
Thread one or two petals, through a pipecleaner folded in half.
Add a bead on the top of the pipecleaner and slip a length of wool/thread through the loop of the folded pipecleaner.
Add some arms et voila!
