Advice for 1st inspection (not registration)

Hi I'm trying to prepare for our 1st Ofsted inspection. The one that gives your report.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips to how to do well in the inspection?

Is there anything that you would have done differently in your inspection? Anything you feel like you should have really got prepared? Or Ofsted picked up on, good or bad.

All our policies and procedures are in place and so is our portfollio. We do have a register and I've been working on Observations. Been sourcing out different resources. Went on a charity shop treasure hunt the other day and found a black baby doll and a book that had a black child in.

Unfortunatly our printer has just gone caput so I can't print out anything here. Should be an easy enough fix though. As long as we can get the part needed. (just when I found it can do posters too!)

Idea's I did have was to make some books on different subjects. Ie babies, colours, shapes etc. By Googling the images and printing them off and laminating them and putting them in a small folder (supervise the mindees while looking at them) is this the best way to make a book or is there a better way?

The mindees we have at the moment are 10 months, 16 months and 2 schoolies. All part time.
