I have tried to work this out myself but gave myself a headache.

If I have worked for a family for two years and my working year starts on September 1st and my last day of work (due to resignation) is December 17th and I have not taken an leave between Sept and Dec, am I owed any holidays etc?

Thanks

By my calculations you are entitled to 8.3 days paid holiday for 1st Sep - 17th Dec.

28 days per year divided by 12 = 2.34 per month

2.34 x 3 (sep,oct,nov) = 7.02

For Dec 2.34 divided by 31 (days in the month) x 17 (the days that you will work in Dec) = 1.28

7.02 + 1.28 = 8.3

Just in case you wondered how I got to that figure Smile
