8+ Seater cars - which are good, which to avoid?

Another Childminder asking about cars but I'm after an 8+ seater (already have 7 seater).

Shoshe loves her Mazda Bongo so I will look into those :) But I'd love to hear more good or bad stories about others so I can start thinking about it.

TIA :)

Bongo are imported and not sealed underneath so rust quickly. Also they are heavy and go through tyres fast, as in once a year, if you are using them for a main vehicle.

I use a Lucida (equivalent to an Estima) and it has been a boon.

I loved my Toyota Previa and I now love my Toyota Estima. Both mine were/are 8 seats, but can be less. Lots of boot space.

I have the 8 seat version of the Peugeot 807. Its nice and I get 2 doubles and a single in the boot and 6 car seats in it as well.

Maggi Dont know where you get that from I have had mine 4 years this is the first time I have had to have any work done on it when it was MOT'd and none of that was underneath, just break pads and shoes, and new back tyres, the first I have had, and I use it everyday, three times a day.

I also dont find it heavy, in fact one of the reasons I bought it was that it was easy to drive, ( I have Lupus and Fibromyalgia) so it was really important that it didnt pull my shoulders. ( I do have the Automatic version tho)

I can also get in the back and almost stand to put the babies in, which again was amust as my back is not good.

Oh and becuase it is an Import I took out the AA import insurance cost me £300.00 for 3 years and covered all major parts, (not including tyres) only used it to cover the brakes and a shattered windscreen.
