What's the best way to advertise?

Me and my DH have got our childminding registrations through. My insurance is through.

We have started to advertise on Childcare.co.uk and netmums. We have the forms for the gov site. How else can we advertise?

Through your local council? My council (Cornwall), has a website with a list of numbers you can call to find out any names/phone nums of local childminders who have vacancies at the time.

Also, maybe setting up your own website, with some policies, a private section that only parents can access for activity photos and other relevant info. I've seen a few websites floating around online, one of my neighbours is a childminder and she has a website where she has her email address and a mobile number only (as house phone will appear in the local yellow/thompson pages).
