I have a feeling it was £600 when I did it, many years ago. Could be wrong though, plus costs may well have changed.

Could you e-mail them and ask?

I've just booked myself on the Dec course and it's £500.

SimpleAsABC · 07/09/2010 22:28

Thanks. I've been nosying around on Google and found something that said the October one is £500.

Nick, did you find it useful? Do you think it's had an impact on the type of work which you have been offered / successful in applying for?

Nanny R, do you mind if I ask if you're doing it to change the work you're doing or to have the qualification?

It's stuff I already knew from reading books mostly, but it was a piece of paper which Nursery Agencies quite like... so meant I could temp in Baby Unit quite easily, rather than being lumbered with the 3 & 4 year olds!
Did some night nannying, though not much - gender was a bit of an issue there.
Expect the bit of paper also helps nanny agencies convince parents to interview me.

Yes it is money well spent. I think parents like to see that a potential nanny/maternity nurse has taken the time to get qualified though experience is beneficial too.

If you don't plan to do maternity nursing then maybe not if you have othe qualifications.

Thanks sailorsgal.

Nick, any ideas on online courses?

Anyone?!
